Some recent shots from my friends camera.
Lately i have been dedicating my time wisely to learning all the
words to 'The Highway Man' by Loreena McKennitt (this song is one of my
absolute favourites!) and perfecting my Lou Reed voice. So far i can sing
all 12 minutes of Street Hassle in it- my entire household can probably attest to this as i have been practising loudly whilst cleaning!
Now that i am one year older i feel i should give you all some wise words fresh from my brain to yours and impart some of my wisdom unto you 2d friends. So here it is dear readers- Always eat the legs of your gingerbread man first so they can't run away from you :D :D :D
If your job is bringing you down that much maybe you should consider trying to find a change. Though that is much easier said than done this days :( I love the pictures (but wonder what you're looking at XD) and those are indeed some very wise words. Plus anyone who can do a Lou Reed voice is someone I want to shake the hand of.
ReplyDeleteI love my job it's just I have so much stuff to sort out and all the people I need to call only operate in office hours and I work way past them >_<. Uhh im leaving soon for uni this september anyway! No more work for four years! Hurrahhh! Then i'll be a fully qualified Speech and Language therapist eeek O_O xxxxx

Argh I love Street Hassle! Such an amazing song. I can't believe you know all the words, I always get in a muddle part way through. We saw Lou Reed live for 20 bucks once. It was awesome.
ReplyDeletei've been trying to cut down my internet time. I've been failing of course but i blame this on trying to plan what to sew for my summer wardrobe so have to spend ages gaining inspiration! Right!! Anyway, once summer comes we wont even have the internet most of the time. So I have to make the most of it. sqqqwwwweeeeeee summer.

ReplyDeleteI work on the weekends and started a placement at a charity shop during the week and I'm feeling the effects of having no free time! Hard work pays off though, or so I'm so told... so think positive! :) Ohhh me and my friend want to go to a reclamation yard, we found a couple in the area, when I do I'll get some shots! Ohh fireplaces also come in my ebay searches! along with windows and quite recently shelves and brackets! I'm not one for modern stuff, I'd much prefer a traditional home with heaps of character! Haha yes, old doors/fireplaces fwwwend! :D
